Sergio Castiglione

Artist

Sergio Castiglione (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1965) is an artist working with photography. His work explores the character of cities and the way urban space is lived, remembered, and transformed over time. Trained as an architect at the University of Buenos Aires, School of Architecture (1989), with a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University, New York (1993) and postgraduate studies at Universidad Católica Argentina / Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (1996), he has developed a practice shaped by extensive travel and long-term observation of urban environments. His work has been exhibited in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, India, the United States, Italy, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates, and recognized with the CAyC / Parex Group Ventanas al Futuro Award (2014). He has published Segments – Cities in Time, Light and Motion (2026), Momentum – Intersections in Sport (2017), and Espejos Urbanos – A Different Way to See Buenos Aires (2015). He lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
